Re: Withdrawing Citizenship Application

It is allowed. You are allowed to exit the country for extended periods if it is for a special reason, such as overseas schooling or taking care of a sick relative, like your father. The traveling that is prohibited is vacationing. Since your purpose is legitimate, you should encounter no issues. H...

Re: REP renewel if you are retired

I believe 55 is the magic cutout date but I can vouch only for those who got their PR via the Family Ties Scheme. Re: LTVP or DP for my kid from Girl friend.

Pay a bribe in the PH to speed up the Annulment (should be around 2k from what friends tell me but what a stuffed up country thanks to the Catholics.). You need to be MARRIED before having a kid in order to get the child a DP. You should not have a problem with that pay level. Don't get her pregnan...

Re: SC approval chances 2020

@bro75 Thanks! Blur of me, but never thought of that/along those lines! Of course PR>2 years are eligible to apply alongwith unmarried kids <21. Now to decide between applying for PR for them first (possibly getting an indication on how we are viewed), or, doing the SC application as a family strai...

Re: Stuck at last stage of sg citizenship conversion

You can't renounce in JB anyway. You would have to surrender your passport and Malaysia IC when you renounce, so how would you get back into Singapore? Renunciation would have to be done at the High Commission when it reopens.

Re: To marry or not

I don't think it really matters where you marry. And if your boyfriend is eligible to apply a DP for his child, he will be eligible to apply a DP for you once you are legally married.

I would try to get permission from mom but I'm not sure it is worth to risk having a child out of wedlock if permission is not granted. There are potential legal issues with that.
