Hi caysey! Francesca, another preggie and I met last Mon. I can't make next Thurs, the 20th, but we're organizing a meet on Mon afternoon either at Novena or United Square. You're more than welcome to join. It's combined with some other expectant moms, so the group is looking to be about 7-large at ...

Venue Ideas for My Baby Shower

My friends are planning a baby shower for me and we need venue ideas. The restaurant, cafe or multipurpose room should accommodate for baby shower games, about 10-15 people total and hopefully it's in a central location. Would anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone have or know of a suitable place for us to meet up - moms to chat and the kids to run around safely? I would offer up my condo's multipurpose room, but don't have one! Would open gym at Gymboree be ok? Any coffee shops that you know of with some space for our kids to explore? My son's no...

That is several times a night. Sorry to hear that and if it makes you feel any better, I know too many moms here who go through the same thing at random stages of baby's growth. If it is teething, it seems the night wakings, grouchiness / irritability or even slight fevers do go away in a matter of ...

RE: Any American Moms out there?

Asian American here, too. My child's slightly younger (17 months old) than everyone else who's posted. Was there ever a meet up scheduled? My weekday afternoons are free. Please feel free to PM me if you want to organize something "offline."

SOS - Baby waking up every 2 hours

Have you checked her gumline as she might be teething? I've found that any changes in routine should be kept minimal or if you do decide to implement the cry out method, for example, consistency and persistence are key.

Hi joyjoy88. Novena's footpaths are city sidewalks. It's not like the Gardens where there are wide paths and lots of greenery or like the Eastcoast where there's a view. But, you do get to beat the mosquitos and there's a Starbucks, Spinelli or Coffee Bean right around the corner if you need to take...

Hi All! It's great to hear that a meet up was organized at BG. Hope it was fun yesterday. I'm also interested in having my 13-month old boy meet some new friends, too! I've lived in SG for a few years now though, so perhaps I can impart some useful tips for living here especially with baby. Please l...

Morning Stroll with Baby for Novena Area Mommies

I've been trying to get back in shape and catch some morning air by taking my baby out for a brisk stroll during the weekdays. I normally start at 8:15-8:30 for about 30 minutes. I was wondering if any Mommies interested in joining? Meeting place: in front of Novena Square. PM me or leave a message ...

Rollerblading on weekends

Momrazz, avid traveller, desert phoenix - Did you manage to meet up for a skate? I can join you if you go in the evenings like chickmen. I've skated for years and would love to pick it up again.
