They're not useful...you'll need ice to make the aircon cool...just get a normal airconditioning unit. :)

Living on campus and an apartment with friends is that campus always charges much higer than private apartments... try doing a calculation, you'll normally see that u end up paying more for campus accomodation.

Will nutrients help? I've consulted doctor from National Skin Centre and they had tested my blood to see if i lack of any vitamins. I'd suggest doubling your budget and heading to one of the Daiso $2 stores. There's a huge one in IMM (Jurong East), not sure about other outlets.. anyway, the stuff is all Japanese-sourced (but of course made in China), so the quality and design are generally quite a bit better than the $1 stuff, ...

Leave all those things you mentioned behind. Things are very cheap in Singapore, especially crockery, bedlinens, sheets and things for everyday use. You have IKEA which has everything you need. Shopping malls also offer household items at affordable prices. You'll probably be wasting more money ship...
