Dont worry about the election. Focus on your PHD and the application. As long as you have not paid 3 years of tax in SG, your chance is going to be less. Thank you for your reply! My problem is that I can foresee my salary will not rise in next 2 years as in university, RA's salary is almost fixed....

I'm a chinese man, 23 years old, got Bachelor in china, Msc in singapore live in singapore for almost 2 years Now holding EP for 7 months already Salary 3650 monthly I'm going to change my job to become a research assistant in NTU and do my part tim...
