I think audio house is ok or you can also try mustafa. Personally, I don't recommend Sin Lim unless you know the exact type you want to buy & make sure about the warranty, delivery & other fee, because they can easily add delivery fee or sometimes they will say the price not include GST so you need ...

After readings many people in this discussion, i felt strange.....coz I thought Singaporean are keen to have caucasians friends rather than other races..., they look up on caucasians...(in my opinion) but many (not all) look down on some other asian races, i.e. chinese indonesian, indonesian, filipi...

owner selling condo - give viewing 3 days/wk - breaking law?

My landlord trying to sell the condo I rent. However, as he has many many agents, on first week of april, viewing were almost everyday, sometimes 2-3 times a day. I fed up, consult the expat forum, it seems that I have my right to state my convenient time http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ftopic4...

i don't know with international school, but for local primary school it's compulsory for the children to have certain vaccinations. You can check in the MOE website for the type of vaccines compulsory for primary school.

the only thing i would like to add is that visiting / vacationing in a destination is different then living there. if you truly want to move why don't you consider new york / HK / London, etc? I'm 1000% agree with huggybear, after living here for almost 2 years, I found Singapore not as lovely & ro...

You're right scoobidoes, can't believe everything agents told us. In Blue horizon, specially tower C facing the west coast park is so hot bcoz of afternoon sun & also incredibly very very very noisy, as the westcoast highway is very busy with the containers & trucks, almost 24/7 so I always turn on ...

There's an esprit factory outlet in IMM, jurong east. In holland v area, other than the one above POSB, there's another one in the opposite, beside burger king. There's also one in lucky plaza, ground fl, near the escalator. However, I found these outlets are not as extensive as the one in Jakarta f...

You're right oku, the landlord should compensate us if he wants us to leave earlier, didn't ask him that, as we can't trust him anymore. Last time he changed our sofa to a lesser quality type & dusty, asked him to give back the previous one, he said that it's up to him which sofa he wants to give us...

Using part time maid, makes my live easier... The first few months is quite difficult, cannot deny that...

Thanks a lot for the reply, coz my landlord sometimes being 'unreasonable', i.e he changed the sofa to a lesser quality type( http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ftopic39411.html ) and recently he asked whether we can move out 1 month early (we are moving in 2 months) as he has prospective tenant w...
