Does anybody has experience to move their pets from Singapore to EU countries? What vet to chose to do paperwork? What kind of vaccination is accepted in EU? If my pet already has a sort of passport, do I have to make another one according to European standards?

What city you are traveling to? West coast or East? Singapore airlines and JAL have direct flights Singapore-Vancouver with one stop but you do not need to do anything with your luggage until your final destination.

I will only be there for a few years if we make it, so your point is well taken about the contrast of a system that is too different than the one back home.
