Re: REP renewal - unique situation

1. After your wife become sc, you will remain a PR under her sponsorship, as confirmed by ICA FAQs. 2. As the REP expiry date is available in the ICA portal, so by right you can always check after your wife complete the sc registration. But if you need this info immediately, I think the only way to...

Re: REP renewal - unique situation

OK, so does that mean she has to apply for my REP to be renewed via her Singpass or do I do that myself via my own Singpass account?

Re: REP renewal - unique situation

Thanks for the reply - do you know if there is any way to find out if my REP expiry date will automatically be extended when my spouse officially completes the registration as a SGC? I wasn't sure if I needed to put a request into ICA for this. 1. After your wife become sc, you will remain a PR und...

REP renewal - unique situation

Hello, I became a PR in 2023 under spouse sponsorship as my wife was already a PR for many years. Both our REPs are linked and both are set to expire on the same date in mid-2025. However my wife has recently been approved to become a Singapore Citizen meaning she will no longer need or have a REP. ...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

Hi there, A quick admin question - my wife who is already a PR submitted a sponsored PR application for me (an EP holder) a few months back. Not expecting the result any time soon given the processing times at the moment but what is the guidance on informing ICA about relevant changes in the meantim...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

Obviously, the most correct answer would be wait at least two years (especially considering you have already be rejected once). How much time is remaining on your PEP? If you really are chafing at the bit, at least wait until you have passed two years since your rejection. Again, other than a guess...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

Hi all, I recently got married to my partner who is a Singapore PR. I myself have been living and working in Singapore for 5-6 years and currently hold a PEP. Not sure if it's relevant or applicable but our combined monthly household income is relatively high (>30K) and we are in our 30s with no ki...

PEP vs ICA LTVP

I am a foreigner in Singapore holding a PEP who is recently married to a Singapore PR. My PEP is expiring soon and I am wondering if it makes sense to apply for a ICA LTVP instead of another EP. My wife and I are both relatively high earners (both >15K per month). I understand from other posts that ...

Re: PMLA Eligibility

Hi - thanks again for your reply.

I got curious so I gave ICA a call. They said it only applies to prospective spouses of SCs not SPRs so you were correct.

Re: PMLA Eligibility

Hi - yes it seems obvious - I.e. only applies exclusively when one spouse is a SC not SPR however the LTVP is applicable to spouses of both SCs and SPRs hence my question - as PMLA is a preamble to the LTVP

See my point?
