Looking for Private Gym in Jurong (IBP) or West Coast Area

Hello, I am getting back into weightlifting and would like to get into a gym as my home gym is not enough anymore. Can anyone give me a recommendation for a good private gym in the Jurong or West Coast Park area? I use mostly free weights and do not do any classes. I would like a nicer type of gym, ...

Bed sheets

I finally found some wonderful sheets at Aussino. They are the Cotton Sateen Collection, 260 thread count, and are so soft. There is also another line there called the Sino collection that is 270 thread count, also a cotton sateen. Both of them are very soft and comfortable. Thanks for the recommend...

Bed sheets

Ok, if not cannon sheets, does anyone have a brand that they recommend that they bought here in Singapore? Our King bed was bought here, so not to worried about finding sheets that will fit, just decent ones that are nice to sleep on.

Bed sheets

So, are you all saying that cannon sheets are the best here in Singapore? We bought the ones that we are using now at John Little and they are horrible. They are scratchy and every little thing is attracted to them(dust, pet hair, etc..) They say Egyptian cotton, but there is no way this stuff is 40...

Bed sheets

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that you can get soft bed sheets at a decent price. We are from the U.S. and have 400 count Egyptian cotton sheets that are so incredibly soft, but they do not fit our king bed that we got here. I have tried buying some sheets here at different department st...

Anyone have Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease at their preschool?

Has anyone had any students in their children's school with this disease? There were two students last week that have now been taken out of the preschool where my boy goes.

Pet Mobile pet sitting

Thank you very much for your replies. That makes me feel better about using their company to look after our cats. Just so others know, they had said that they will give your animals medication too if needed. I just didn't know how well trained the staff was on giving insulin injections?

Pet Mobile pet sitting

Has any one ever used Pet Mobile pet sitting services, and can give a recommendation? I have a diabetic cat that needs insulin shots everyday, and need to find a pet sitting company that can do that for us. If you know of any other service that you have used that takes care of sick animals please le...

Preschools

Have you heard good things about Pibos preschool? I went for a visit today, and seemed nice. The only thing that concerned me was that there seemed to be a lot of kids to one teacher, that they would not get as much individual attention. There were a lot of expat children there, so I guess they must...

Hello, I am interested in enrolling my 2yr old son in a preschool. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good preschool? Has anyone sent their child to White Lodge Early Learning Center? If so, did you and your child enjoy it? I live on Dunearn near Bukit Timah Plaza and am looking...

Stepping Stool for toddler

Does anyone know where to get a stepping stool that is made of wood and has two steps? The ones at most of the baby stores around here just have the small stepping stools. My son is not tall enough to reach the sink on the smaller ones, and we want him to start washing his own hands, thus he needs a...

Usually, in the U.S. you are expected to tip, or at least the person giving you service is expecting a tip. Like in the U.S. we tip 20% of the total bill. How much do you usually tip your barber?

Tipping

I am from the U.S. where we tip for everything, but here they say you don't have to tip for anything? So, will that mean you do not tip your hair dresser or when you go to get a facial?
