Re: PR surrender and CPF withdrawal

I am not sure how long it could be. My renunciation was just approved early Jun, so far I still can log on CPF via the app. Hi e1coli and Baobaotou, My Singapore PR REP expired and I am outside Singapore due to the pandemic, so I have lost my PR. Seems like both of you still have access to Singpass ...

Re: PR surrender and CPF withdrawal

Found it is more appropriate to post my question here. I recently started the process for my SG citizenship renunciation by post as I am living overseas. Was informed the procedure will take at least 12 weeks. After that I plan to do CPF withdrawal but I have a few dumb questions I have asked aroun...

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

ya it is rigid and I can understand why. I just wish that by keeping my son with no IC, no passport since he was born, and with whole family has no SG citizenship would still make it relatively easy to apply for deferment when he's at the age...

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

Thank you Lisafuller and PNGMK. I will. Meanwhile I will keep an eye here/online to see if regulation changes. Keep fingers crossed that there won't be any changes on the deferment process...

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

Thank you PNGMK and Hi SMS:) I was under impression that if a kids is young enough with dual citizenship and no family member holding SG citizenship,on a case by case basis he could be granted renunciation early. In that case, we will do my plan B, follow the steps to the path for deferment. Regardi...

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

Hi MS, SMS, not sure if I am lucky enough that you are reviewing the posts still. I contacted ICA but was told my son cannot renounce citizenship before 21. He is currently 6. His SG citizenship was obtained via registration and he has dual US citizenship since birth. Whole family does not have SG c...

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

Re: National Service Deferment Procedure in Singapore.

Hi I have been reviewing the forum and appreciate all the information. However I want to bring up this issue I believe it is new. My son is 6 and no NRIC nor SG passport. Did not apply for baby bonus upon registration of his birth overseas. Recently I realized he has a CPF account and upon googling ...
