Very simple....just go to any local tailor and tell them you need name tags for school uniforms. There is such a thing to be found once you get away from Orchard Road and Holland Village.....
Cool...thanks very much Madison. And no worries on the housing recommendations. 8-) I hope you find a fantastic location! We've thought about Tanglin but we actually are looking for something more international or American in terms of curriculum. Nothing at all against the outstanding British curric...
ah heng, the more you write, the more you make it look like you have a negative attitude toward caucasians, whether that is the case or not. I agree with the moderator....time to lay off the nonsense. And by the way, I've heard from several Chinese friends that the term ang moh can indeed be conside...

Many thanks.

I use it to chat with friends and family who are all over the globe. We only use our phone for local calls and call via Skype when we call interna...
I don't think you'll find any affordably priced bungalows with a pool though, regardless of where you're looking. As far as the noise in condos, though, I have to disagree. We stayed in a 3br place in Upper Bukit Timah from 2000-2003 right next to the Nature Reserve and while it wasn't soundproof, w...
Good luck with your search. If I were in your situation I certainly would opt for a condo over a house. The pool, playground, security and convenience of condo living beats a house rental anyday if you have kids, in my opinion. I wouldn't worry about noise too much...your child won't be the only one...
