I am new to Singapore and am trying to furnish my house. I have visited furniture mall, Ikea and Park Mall in hunt for furniture. I am still looking for few other items such as study table and computer table. Does anybody know where can I get these?

We are a family moving to Singapore in July from Africa and I am not sure if I would really need the car or if public transport is good enough.

I am in the same boat as you, except will have my children in middle school in OFS. So, I don't know much either, but would like to learn about the school as well. Also, I am a bit nervous about where to go for medical help etc. Any ideas on that?
