Thanks all for your advice. Will certainly pack it well if it goes in the hold. Not sure if my youngest will sit in it on the plane, as he always wants to be like the older two!

We are from the UK. All have British passports with the same surname as my in laws.

My in laws would like to take their grandchildren to Bintan for a few days. Does anyone know if I need to provide a letter of consent, or any other documentation, as my children will be traveling without their parents?

My three and a half yr old son has been going since January. He thinks it's brilliant, and talks very proudly about his "acting" class! It's not cheap, but I would definitely recommend it.

The problem will be when your child reaches 1 year (or sooner if the baby is big). The Maxi Cosi will be too small and then you'll have no way of walking around with a car seat. You'll either have to get a car with a proper car seat (as we finally did) or you can get a harness like what is featured...
