Beware of Illegal Part-Time Maids!

Food costs & dining out are definitely more expensive too, up 10% to 30%. If your housing is provided for? Average rental for 1000sqft apartment costs S$4-5K/month for non-p...

How about Ice Skating at Kallang

Try ice skating at the new Kallang Ice Skating World! It's great fun for the family and our kids simply love it! And then go bowling at the same building at Stadium Walk.

Bring along: gloves, socks, cardigans. :D

From my experience, it's better to shop from places like Audio House (Liang Court). They have a wide range and prices are fixed but reasonable.

Just be sure that she's a Singaporean or PR. The Singapore govt is very strict about this. Our helper of 2 years is a Singaporean Chinese lady and she's an angel!:D

Bangkok - Jap food

There are several good Jap restaurants in most shopping malls eg Central World, MBK, Siam Paragon etc. Prices are about 80% of what you pay in Singapore but no compromise on the quality. Great Stuff!
