thank you

Thank you for your recommendation. I am going to call for a free quotation now.
But is there a way to prevent the scheduling of 2 moves on the same day/same team?
I've heard that has happened to a few families I know and they were all so tired and furious.

Recommendation for a good moving company within Singapore

Hello. After living in a condo for 4 years, we have decided to move into a house next month. However, I have never moved within Singapore and not sure what moving company to use. I used Crown before when moving from Shanghai to here, but that is an international mover, isn't it? Does anyone know of ...

primary at CIS

HI. I have a son who goes to grade 1 at CIS. He's been there since SK and has enjoyed himself very much. The facility at the moment is not so nice compared to other int'l schools but a new campus which will integrate all current three campuses is being built near Jurong Chinese Garden. Although we a...

Anybody selling used Maxi cosi cabrio infant car seat?

Hello. I am expecting my third baby soon and I would like to get a used Maxi cosi cabrio infant car seat (which supposedly can be fixed onto the Maclaren XLR stroller that I am planning to buy). Anybody selling? Has been looking around at Ebay and Sing expat classified but only one or two Maxi Cosi ...

regarding Hillington Green

I live at Summerhill which is right beside Hillington Green. I've also looked at Hillington Green and found it to be very nice. It's new, each unit has its own elevator, nice layout... From what I've heard, the condo is mostly local and that is the reason for low rate of units out for rental(at leas...

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, I guess you do have to take some time to get to know the neighborhoods before finding the right apt. We will actually be living at Ascott for a month. My husband and I just wanted to find a good apt. soon so that the kids could feel "settled in." I guess no need to hurry, though. Thanks for yo...

Maplewoods? or Heritage View?

Hi! We are moving next month now and still haven't found our condo :( My husband is in Singapore now looking at some houses, and he would really appreciate feedbacks on Maplewoods (Upper Bukit Timah) and Heritage View (Dover Rise). We have two pre-schoolers and would like a family-oriented compound....

Which Montessori kindergarten?

Sorry, there is no primary Montessori in Singapore. Mine goes to a Montessori kindergarten, and when that's over, that's it for Montessori here, unfortunately. Canadian International School claims to integrate Montessori concepts into their programme, but you'd have to pay them a visit to see how t...

Check out the Disney Store

My sons(4 and 2) also love The Incredibles, and my husband said he saw the Incredibles backpack at the Disney store. It might be a bit big for your two-year-old though. We got our younger one a small hipsack which he loves to wear across his chest and is great for carrying around small toys and snac...

Take my maid from Shanghai?/Find an inhouse maid in Sing?

Hello~ I am a mom of 4-year-old and 18-months-old boys. My family will be moving from Shanghai to Singapore pretty soon and I was wondering if I could take my Chinese maid with us to Singapore and have her work for us there? Would there be required some kind of a work permit for her to enter? Do mai...
