You mean to say you applied for and got your PR even before graduating? I thought you can use the invitation letter to apply for PR only after you graduate and find employment.

Did you receive a letter from ICA inviting you to apply for PR? If you did then you should show that to the employer. Its almost equivalent to having a PR. Once you have an offer letter you can apply for PR and the ICA will stamp a temp EP on your passport and you can start work immediately.

Does the employer have other EP holders currently employed? Is it a start up company? Often the MOM will take a let's wait and see if the company has any staying power first.

I accepted an offer from one of the major investment bank (MNC) in Singapore but my P1 pass was rejected.
