Does anyone have recommendations of a suitable area to live in Singapore for cabin crew? I've been told the East part of Singapore is most ideal because it's near to the airport and not to far from the city. Specific recommendations of HDB's or Apartments would help as well.

Has anyone else from the 10 June KL batch of applicants heard from SIA yet? Understand that a whole bunch were contacted two weeks ago and some are still waiting because their academic certificates are not available yet. I wonder whether they processed all the guys before the girls, which is why the guys heard from MOM first. Hmm..

Can anyone tell me whether there is a difference in pay package during the 4 months training, the probation period and upon confirmation as a flight attendant?

Do allowances only start when you begin flying or during training as well?

I also went through the interview process and medical check-up, and am now waiting for them to contact me. This is the fourth week since the medical check-up, so am a wee bit concerned too.
