Seems a mixed bag of views on the riding experience in Singa. Guess I await to find out myself. Note that the people who find Singapore riding experience a positive one are actual riders... daily. I am also a daily rider of a large cc Bike (1600cc) and fully agree with you Strong Eagle. The best pa...

Re: Cleaning Service?

Can anyone recommend a cleaning service company? Perhaps one that you are currently using and happy with them. One that is reliable and provides good service for cleaning my home. Not interested in freelancers. I've had enough of the cleaners not showing up and giving bad excuses. I've looked throu...

You should get in touch with the dealership in the city that you are heading to. http://www.westforever.fr/opencms/opencms/www/en/agencement_cadres.html?page=/opencms/export/www/en/infos_pratiques/choisir_moto/concessionnaires.html They should be able to help you arrange the inspection and re-regist...

Hello Pakjohn. Over the past 5 years I have bought 6 bikes in Singapore (my Wife is also a rider - so we are still holding 3) and from experience if you are buying a used bike I would recommend going private. In a private sale you have less chance of the bike having been dummied up just for sale and...

You will need to do your homework with the banks. They all have some slight differences. Some will not lend more than 80% Some will lend up to 90%. The bank we used had a slightly better interest rate if the deposit was 20% or greater.

Cheers.

We learnt a long time ago never to make full payment up front for any good or service that we can't walk away with or have completed on the spot. Even for furniture we have specially made we only accept the deal subject to a balance of payment on final inspection and delivery. Contractors, tailors e...

Don't risk it. Rarely will someone help her on or off the bus, the driver will take off before she has found a seat (if she can get one as quite often there is standing room only), then drive there is no tomorrow etc.etc.. If you really have your heart set on the East Coast and you have young childr...

Too be honest Paya Lebar is one of the last places I would consider to bring my wife and new born baby. It is largely industrial, trading and local housing. For the next year at least there will be ongoing road works and construction as they are installing a new MRT line through there. Access is onl...

LOL happens to all of us when we start riding here. So far so good for me, I have only had two cards stolen (after neglectfully leaving the card in the reader) in 5 years of riding. I have also retuned a number of times to find my card still there, and once had it retuned to me by security at NAC wh...
