I also have a very negative impression on the locals. I find them to generally to be rude, ignorant and very self absorbed. Things I dont care for are things like opening the door to let yourself through and people pushing past you like your opening the door for you. The constant pushing and shoving...

There is the NZ Chamber of Commerce. This is a group that mainly NZers join.

They do all sorts of events and have a social netball team.

Hi,

Ilido, I have been for lunch and it was exactly what I expected for fine dining Italian restaurant. It has a really funky Italian design and the view is amazing.

I was really impressed.

It really depends in what type of food you like.

:D

Hi there,

I am also an experienced rider and have left my three beautiful NZ thoroughbreds at home. I was wondering if you have checked out the riding schools above?

Let me know as I am really interested in doing some riding over here as well.

Thanks :)

Hi Robb,

PS cafe at Dempsey rd (towards Holland Village) is excellent for brunch. It has a really nice out look. There is dinning inside or outside but they don't take bookings.

Its western food.

Give that a go :D

Snowfly, please email me as I haven't done enough postings on this forum to email privately. My email address is [email protected].
