Hi Road not Taken,

Is Perth ok for weekend trip? How long's the flight?

I can wait till March next year to go but I need somewhere to go soon. I'm going nuts in this concrete jungle.

Re: hotel room

Check out Hotel Fragrance and Hotel 81.
They seem to have promotions right now as well.

Cooler Climate with beach and R&R

After living here for a year ++, things are getting stale and boring.

Can anyone suggest a nice quiet, ok...not that quiet, relaxed location for a weekend trip? Must have a much much cooler climate and way lower humidity.

Would be ideal if it has activities for the family as well.

No I did not. I researched this a bit and only heard raves about Eton @ Orchard. Nothing about Vanda.

Since our children are about the same age, would you like to do a playdate sometime?

Etonhouse - Vanda

Can anyone give feedback/reviews of the Vanda location? I have a very bored 18 mth old and was thinking of keeping him entertained by send him to either a half day or full day preschool.

Any other recommendations are always welcome.

Korean Supermarkets/Restuarants

I miss my weekend dosage of authentic Korean BBQ and Galbi Tang n Jap Chae.

Can anyone recommend a great authentic Korean restaurant?

Also, where can I find the MSG-free, preservative-free Gi Jae mix so that I can make Soon Doo Bu Ji Gae?

Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Thx

1+ yr old needs new friends

Hi everyone, My 1+ yr old needs to meet new friends! We moved here for 2+ months now...settled in and now would like to set up a few play dates for our son. My availability is only during weekends. Anyone interested? I'll prefer to meet outdoors (take advantage of the good weather) like at Botanical...

Fresh and Good - Oyster Bar

Hi All....

Does anyone know a good oyster bar? Price is not a bid concern as long as the food is fresh.

Thanks

Used Car Transfer Fee

Just settled in and identified a used car. Who pays the transfer fee? The buyer or seller?

Boy...cars are crazy expensive here!!

Similac Advance Premix Formula

Does anyone know where I can get the Similac Advance Formula in instant/premix bottles? It's similar to the powder except it's already premixed with water.

Super Star - Thanks again. I'm actually looking for organic chicken fillets (Harvestland), extremely fresh and genuinely wild caught sockeye salmon, organic fruits and a larger variety of organic veggies (as compared to CS). I hope to be able to find them at the places you suggested. SMS - Thanks. I...
