Thanks to all the above guys who posted and showed a positive way for new things in life.....Even I have got a job there and moving in next 3 days...with little less salary structure and am apprehensive as to how the things will turn out to be.....thanks as after reading it has boosted my confidence

Well I am a degree holder in mech engg and a post graduate in marine engg, with 5yrs of sea exp.
Overall exp on land appx 8 yrs.
Now what are the possibilities,..........

Housing is not included for sure!! and the above amount of 3500 is after yearly bonus and etc otherwise it is3230 pm !!!
Now advise and yes like once I come there what are the chances that I get get another job with better pay package??

salary rate for marine engr.

I have been offered a marine engineer job for 3500 pm. I wanted to know the salary rate or marine engineer in Singapore and is it enough for a family of 3( no school going kid) for a decent living.

Well, you didn't tell us what your job is, so it's hard to say if that's fair value or not.
