Looking for like minded people who are not into any freaky stuff, non party animals and not really big on drinking. Just anyone to hang with - coffee, casual dinner (nothing fa...

Bali Tour Guide

Hi everyone,

For those who have been to Bali and used a tour guide, can anyone recommend me a reasonably priced and reliable Bali tour guide to take us around to see the sights?

Also pls feel to to give us any suggestions as to hotels/areas to stay/avoid.

Thanks!

I brought the lamps over from the US because I thought there was a chance I could convert them without too much of a hassle and also since they were quite expensive I didn't want to sell them for 30-40% of the original price.

thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Can anyone tell me where is the best place to convert the lamps and change the dimmer from 110v to 240v here in Singapore? does anyone who have done it before know approximately how much it would ...

I agree with ksl, I don't think S$90k is a good offer.Except for lower tax rates, living expenses are getting higher and higher in Singapore. Is there any room for renegotiationg your offer in SIngapore? however, at the end of the day, you and your family should decide whether you all want to go thr...

Hi, we just moved from NY as well and were in the same thought process as you and your wife. We finally decided to rent mainly because we didn't know the areas in Singapore well enough and as you said the prices are very high now especially with the new developments. So we are waiting to see what ha...

You would definitely be able to rent 1 bedroom for $6-$7K in a brand new development - e.g. ICON - closer to CBD, Residences at Evelyn, the Metz - closer to the Orchard shopping area. I think all brand new developments/newer developments have pool and gym facilities - so worries there. Although with...
