Thank you for your post. I guess I was trying to find out if there is a special visa that Malaysians can get or that it's easier for employers to get an EP for Malaysians than for say, an Australian.

This may have been asked before but what is the IB programme?

Your comments are very "censible" and much appreciated.

The one reason - the constant study and memorising would be why I am not keen on the local schools but if things may be different now, I'll have to investigate which school would be suitable.

Thanks heaps everyone! I'm not too worried about my husband getting a job, a degree in hospitality is not exactly unskilled. It's a short term goal for me to work towards relocating to SEAsia but if we don't make it, then a holiday every year will suffice.

I've seen other posts in this forum that LPR requires less paperwork for the employer hence it is easier to land a job because of that. Try and see older posts in the forum as there may be similar question in the past.

My husband is a Malaysian citizen and degree-qualified with more than 7 years in hospitality - Food and Beverage. What sort of pass/visa can he apply for?
