$1600?? I'd say the pay is rather pathetic but not that extent! Say at least $2K - 2300. For those who want to join jal, don't believe entirely on what people say here. If you think you want it, go get it. Having only 1 day layover still beats having no layovers like some budget carriers right?

Jal would be good for those who wish not to fly so often and hv more time of their own. My sq friend who started flying solo ard 2 months ago is hving a really hectic schedule. She was called out on standbys and only hv 2-3 days rest in between her flights. She's complaining about her unwashed laund...

Why do most people think that if one isn't flying for sq, it's probably because he/she couldn't get into sq and had to settle for second best? Is this really the case? And what about Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Silkair, JAL, Tiger, Jetstar etc? Are these airlines really much easier to get in than sq?

What about the salary? Is it little?

I think i'd prob go for medicals tmr too. Hopefully my mopiko will help with the swelling. I'm not sure about JAL's medical tests. But for my previous airline i went thru a whole lot of tests and blood drawn. *faint* tests like hiv, hepatitis, blood count, hearing etc...

Only 20 girls got in? Any idea how many girls were at the final interview today? I saw there were like two pages of numbered stickers. Hmmm dunno if i'm goin for medicals tmr or tue. I read form this forum some girl said that the doctor would be checking on your skin as well is it? I got a mosquito ...

So how does it go after the medicals is done? Do we wait for them or call or email us about the contract signing in Jan? Can any current crew of JAL help me out here? Thanks alot!
