Hi - Does anyone know the rough cost of painting a three-bedroon apartment 1350 sq feet?

Really?! Why not March through to June - after the bonus payouts and before the first half of the year is out?

My agent tells me rents are likely to start increasing (albeit marginally) mid-June onwards. He said June to September is roughly the expat season - ie, the time most new expats come into Singapore.

Any truth in this statement?

Hello - I will be flying into New York soon, and need to carry 6 wine bottles for a friend.

Does anyone know the duty-free alcohol allowance flying into the US? How much duty will I have to pay on the dutiable bottles of wine?

An expat friend of mine currently in Spore will move to NYC soon.
He's got a small collection of expensive wines (all for personal use) which he would like to take with him. A couple of questions:
1. Will Singapore Customs demand duty on export?
2. Will US Customs demand duty on import?

Hello! We bought a condo apartment last year :D , just before the prices went crazy!! We plan to leave Singapore in about 6 months and will be out for about 5 years.
