Ahoy Hospitaller,

I heart film in the geekiest sense, was a projectionist through my school years. Any films in particular?

Alas I have no projects except boring corporate videos. Though there seem to be quite a few amateur filmmakers around.

rock and metal clubs and gigs

Does anyone know where to find some clubs that play decent rock and metal music? Live gigs too. All I've come across here is pop music, it's getting me down.

Thanks!

Hi All,

It's a new idea that came into my head, but I'd really like to work on my Chinese for work too. Are there classes or resources available aside from practice?

Recruitment Agencies in Singapore

Hello,

Can anyone recommend some good recruitment agencies in the audio visual solutions industry? I need to find a Video Conference Bridge Operator and am finding it quite difficult here, not having any contacts or knowledge of the field.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello All! Really lovely to see your replies. Arrived today, it's humid but it's pretty nice. I'm staying near orchard this week and working near Raffles Link. Anyone free to meet up for tea or after work this week? (Bear in mind that I don't know where anything is so will take me a while to find it...

New in town

Ahoy there, Where do I start? I am moving to Singapore for work in March and would like to make some friends. I’m 24, born and brought up in the UK, of East Asian origins. Most of my immediate family live in London but the rest of my family live all round the world. I speak English, some Canto and a...
