I suggest you can join the mailing list of SIngapore Adverturers Club, i am in their mailing list. SOmetimes they have free treks around SIngapore. Went once and is quite fun and you get to do it with many other like minded people as well

why don't you try DBS?

I currently have UOB and DBS card. Recently someone called me from UOB also for a new card. I even send them my new application and the photocopies of my official documents. but it has been a month, yet to receive any card.... think i also better call them tomorrow.

wow woodlands and CBD are quite far apart. best to stay somewhere in between the two area.

I work around that area. The nearest one seems to the The Laundry Lodge that is recently opened in Somerset MRT. :D The address is B1-04, (turn left after the exit gantries at the control station, is just a few steps from the atm machines).
