If i remember correctly, there are either 12 or 15 checkpoints, and you are expected to complete 2/3 of the checkpoints only. That means that there are some checkpoints where you dont even get to go at all, because once you meet the minimum checkpoints required, you head straight back, and pray hard...

The waterski park (in East Coast, next to the hawker center) is one of the checkpoints in last year race. I didn't do the waterski because I was covering checkpoints that are near to the Science Park. In fact, I intentionally choose not to go to the checkpoints on East Coast, because from the list, ...

I have done it last year, and personally, I think its good fun and good experience. Its reasonably well coordinated by the organizers. I didnt feel that there is major hipcups. For the race, essentially, you are given a list of about 15 checkpoints, and you need to go to about 10 or 12 checkpoints. ...

The ticket prices advertised do not include airport and fuel tax, and depending on the country and city you are going, it could be an additional of $100-$200. For budget airlines (i.e. Jetstar and Tigers), they do not serve food or drinks on flight. You will need to purchase it, on board. You should...

I think everyone was disappointed. Today's papers also have an short article about their 80 mins concert... i feel quite rip-off actually. Plus, they actually said that it will be a great party during their press conference in the day... James Blunt is coming in May, and it seems like their Premier ...

Anybody interested in Phnom Penh?

Thinking of going to PP between May 1 - 4. Was checking on Jetstar and realised that the tickets are really cheap (only $280) despite the fact that its over a public holiday period. Depart Thurs evening 6pm, return Sunday night 1035pm. You will probably need to take a day off (2nd May) if you have a...

The current SQ 4-to-go deal is SGD$1200/pax (excluding tax). I think tax will be $300-400, so the flight ticket alone will be around $1500-$1600. Finnair, KLM and Qatar flies to Europe for about $1000, but it is not a direct flight. Including tax, it will cost around $1400. I wont mindpaying a bit m...
