You can try Indochine in Orchard road. that's not really cheap, but you can find some vietnamese food.

one of my friend's from France, but he went back already... french seems like a really interesting language :) Yeah, I also think it's an interesting langage, cause it's rich, but to be honest, I guess I would have give up learn such a complicated langage if I were a foreigner :p Even native french...
