Ok, just found the laws. Looks like using the flag for a party is a form of abuse. Will look into contacting the embassy to abuse my home flag!

I believe it is against the law to abuse a Singapore Flag. You might want to try the Australian Embassy/Consulate for a flag to abuse from them (I don't know what their laws are in Australia) Hmm what's the definition of abuse? It will be used as a sign of Singaporean pride and at the same time met...

Where to buy Australian and/or Singaporean flags here?

Hi - I need a Singaporean or Australian flag to wear as a cape to a party. Any ideas as to where I could buy those?

There was a huge turnout yesterday and we all had a brilliant night, particularly when we retreated to dance/sweat at Insomnia. I recommend that even more people come along next week lah.

Personally, I don't think it's very easy. There is a misconception that ang mo (white person) = asian girls flocking to him. This is not true in Singapore [generally]. If you're an older male and look like you're made of money, you will essentially attract gold diggers. If you're younger, there's no...

I don't mind either way, though I would have to say cactus legs and arms are a bit off putting. You are right I am probably more furry, the older we get, hai...

Looking for a few young expats to move out with

Hey everyone, I'm looking to move out at the end of May and would like to find a few like-minded expats to move out with. About me: I'm Australian, 22 years old, I work in marketing. Weekdays I'd like it to be relatively quiet in the house, as I work full time. However, the weekend I would like the ...

Ok, should we get this started again? I'm Aussie, 22, and male. Definitely up for dinner + drinks some time. Maybe next week could potentially work?

Cheers,

Or replying in this thread works too. Seriously, one of the reasons I've been feeling sad about leaving Sydne...

Re: African American woman living in Singapore

As far as how African Americans are treated here is concerned....I definitely get a lot of stares. Sometimes, well most of the time it makes me uncomfortable. On the days where I am just not in the mood to be stared at, I actually tell them that staring is rude and they should know better as we are...
