Hi Joshua Thanks for the advice. I have noticed a trail of where the small ones come from so I'll have a go at tackling them today but the big ones just seem to come from everywhere!! We live in a cluster house and thankfully don't seem to get them upstairs in the bedrooms - but the living room and...

Re: Ants are driving me mad!!!

Hi folks I've been here almost 8 weeks and the plague of ants that we have on a daily basis is driving me insane. Any suggestions as to what works to get rid of them? I've tried baits - they don't even crawl in them... I use insect spray a lot but hate using it as I have two small children. We have...

Re: PEP Application - Request for Information

Hi, I'm based in the UK and plan to apply for the Singapore PEP under the S$7000 criteria. Can someone please help with the following queries I have? 1. Congratulations on your receiving your PEP. As good as as PR for the 5 year period except you are only allowed to be out of work for no more than 6 months at a time. Additionally, which shouldn't be a problem is the minimum per annum salary requirements to keep from losing it. Again, Congratulation...

Hi Kn1ghtx, You're in the same boat as me :) except I'm leaving London, UK. I've been in touch with my brother who's based in Singapore now. My brother and I both have contacted the MOM directly regarding certain queries. You are eligible for the PEP if your foreign salary is over SG$7000 per month....

Straight from the MOM's mouth (both my brother and I called them yesterday morning) To answer my original question - you can apply for dependant passes at the same time as making your PEP application. The local sponsor in this case is the PEP applicant where the PEP applicant has not secured a job y...

SMS/KSL, Thanks for your responses. Can I throw a spanner into the works and ask you to look at 2 specific sections in the PEP Form 8 to get your interpretions? I spoke to my brother (who lives out in SG now as PR) and he said a colleague's boyfriend was arriving very soon after getting his PEP appr...

Thanks for the response. That's also my understanding if you hold an EP or S Pass, the dependants issue is quite clear. PEP other the other hand I think has some ambiguity. I think it is due to the MOM's introduction of new criteria for PEP eligility to draw people into the country. Specifically I'm...

Dependant's passes if I hold a personalised employment pass?

Hi all, need some advice please. I've been through the MOM website many many times and I can't find the information I'm looking for. I've started my application for a personalised employment pass as I don't have a job secured yet in Singapore. The MOM website quite clearly states that my spouse and ...
