Does landlord in Singapore provide moving period to tenants? Like maybe 2 weeks before the actual start of contract and maybe 1 week after the contract ends?

How much is the normal school bus fees for local schools? Do they pick you up right at your doorstep? or do you have to go to a central pick up point in your area.

Just rented a common room in a 3bedroom condo. 5 to 8 mins walk to eunos mrt. SGD800 inclusive of internet and pub.

From my point of view and in my humble opinion. If you will be accessing general websites like yahoo, google, youtube, cnn, etc., then getting the least bandwidth from the ISP should be fine. However, if you will be accessing more local sites (SG related websites in our case since we are in SG now),...

Saw a guy in bike on the road last week when I was in Singapore.... I think drivers are not as bad... the biker passed by the left side of the taxi am riding and when he signals he is turning right... the taxi driver driving my cab slows down and let him pass. thanks for the advise sms and andy there is a fitness center nearby where I can use the facilities... i.e. shower room, swimming pool, etc. so, weather and sweating is not a problem for me...but the risks...hhmmm... if i can not use my bike to/from office, are there any bike trails around SG? is biking allowed in singapore streets? I am thinking of using my bike to go to/from work. My work place is in Science Park near NUS, and I'll probably stay near the vicinity, maybe clementi, commonwealth or maybe close to holland village.
