Could the same logic apply on a larger scale, how can a small country defend itself against a larger country if they don’t have same size army or same weapons? Should every country get their nuclear weapons, so they couldn’t be forced to do anything and they could defend their sovereignty? Well tha...

I would say that since it's a business rather than someone's Myspace page, any violation will be pursued much more aggressively. I don't know about whether it being a restaurant will make people appreciate music more - personally when I'm going to a restaurant's website, I want to know about the loc...

Re: wat your point of view, dATING DIFFERENT RACES OF YOUR O

In this relationship, the key is to always give in and take..Dont be offended if people pass any unkind remark, important is that u are happy with that person for as long as u want and willingly to make sacrifice... I agree... my motto is "you're the one who has to live with yourself". Parents will ...

It depends on what you mean by national dish. I mean Chilli Crab is often considered the national dish of Singapore, and that's only eaten on special occasions, yet it's special because it has fresh seafood, multiple cultures, chilli and is a dish only for sharing. Curry is probably the most-consume...

It's also worth using those sites to get a list of hotels, and then going to the individual websites of hotels on that list in order to check direct prices. Oftentimes you can get the best deal direct from the hotel website (most do online reservations), and some have "best deal" guarantees.

You don't have the right to a jury trial either (there are none). Besides, what the law says can always be changed, or glossed over. The sooner you just accept that the government owns you and can do whatever they want with you while you're here, the better off you'll be.

What IS a surprise is that in such high-density living as in Sg, the problem of barking dogs appears to fall on deaf ears ! Hey, everyone knows that Singaporeans have a knack for seeing no evil... not much of a leap to get to "hear no evil"! Get the government to make it a law and then no on...

Singapore ladies in general look pretty sharp but I think two years NS has helped give the men that regimented nerd look that seems to the norm here. Maybe not the look, but one thing I learned from NS that was drilled into us day after day - never, ever, ever be the one guy who looks or does thing...

She's saying that it might be worth it for some condos to ban dogs and advertise it as a selling point, so that people have a choice whether to live in a place that allows dogs or one that doesn't. Personally, let me know when they do the same thing for kids.

You are talking about a city becoming gridlocked, we are talking about a whole country here. Again, apples with apples? Hmmm? Right, the problem is that if you live in New York state, you don't drive downtown during busy periods (or at all) if you can help it. If you have to go for work, so ...

"Good thing you only have a dog and not a kid, then!" It's one of the problems with having a society that is so heavily rule-based, there's not much "spirit of the law" if you get what I mean: "The condo rules don't stop me from having a dog and doing what I do, so I will; if you don't like it, well...

local_lad, Get a grip lad! Where did anybody say 99%? I get the feeling that a lot...... does not say 99%. if the average yabbo in the average country is .05% of the country and another country has like say 2% then that country "has a lot" by comparison. What seems stupid to me (I may be misinformed, if so please let me know) is how the policy isn't the least bit co-ordinated. I mean sure, if people want to keep illegal immigrants out at all costs, I can understand why they would refuse to grant visas to the Filipino maid or whoever. I don't agree ...
