EK Recruitment on Hiatus

Seems like the current financial climate has affected EK... they have recently "stopped" their recruitment exercise. If you log on to their website, you'll see that all Open and Assessment Day dates have been taken off/postponed indefinitely.

i have heard someone says that when u already applied the online form den the interviewer will just need ur reference number or something. Not true. If you have applied online and they send you an invite to the Open Day, you will still need to bring these things. § a print out of this email invitat...

hmmm there were only a handful of male applicants... maybe thats why the odds were low..
this time there's about 10? if i am not wrong, judging from last saturday..

anyway not to worry.. i dont think it matters how many guys there are, that shouldnt be the deciding factor.. :)

Sure!! We got there at 8am but the actual thing starts only at 9am so we stood outside (with heels!!!) for over an hour... So it started with 2 ROs introducing DXB and they will ask what you know about EK... then they will play some videos and tell you more about life in DXB...You can ask questions ...

Round 2 is nervewrecking but as long as you remain composed and not overly confident you will be fine. :)

I've done the assessment day before so hopefully it will help me in my second attempt. :D Good luck to you!!

Nope, not true.. I've seen foreigners at the open and assessment days (Koreans, Indians, Filipinos, Malaysians, Caucasians) and I myself am not Singaporean. :)

from what i know, tattoos that cannot be seen while in uniform IS NOT an issue. trouble is, mine is kinda borderline.... it's a little tricky so i am really curious about the medicals procedure. Coz ive heard about people being sent home after the medicals in DXB, because their tattoos were showing....

I was wondering if Singaporegurrl or Queenie-me, or anyone who is with EK in DXB already, can help? When you get to DXB and go for the medical check, do they strip you naked to specifically search for tattoos? If they dont, then in what circumstances will they see your tattoo?
