SG is worse than Italy. SG Does not issue dependent passes for same sex couples. We have tried and now safely back on UK ! Do not rely on this forum, ask your embassy , SG are such hypocrites. They let one friend coming back every 3 months on a tourist visa for more than 3 years, once he confessed t...

Hi there, True to form, it is a mine field to find info on this subject in Singapore. I was told the same thing at the Singapore High Commission in London 3 years ago. This forum is probably watched anyway, so no written account as mentioned by a moderator. Word of mouth is probably the best . You c...

Wines in Singapore

Wines in Supermarket are fairly cheap, but they have no individuality. Only big brands pretending to come from small vineyards. They are not stored properly and many whites are "tired ". Try to find a local merchant or pm for tips. Cheers

Hi there Brittany, I don't think Singapore is 1rst in Asia for attitude.Religion plays a far too important part in people's life , not as in some neighbouring countries. Things will not move as quickly as some people would like to think. Hypocrisy is the order of the day . I would love to be proven ...

We were in the same situation coming from London. A lot of advice is given verbally but nothing on paper or websites. The SG High commission in London informed me of a few cases. Nothing is publicised in case more " of us " decided to move here ! I can pm you on that. I had to travel once every 30 d...

Same Sex Relationships - DP/LTSVP/?

Here we go again, I asked the same question last year and was quite put off by the answers from some of the moderators . It would have been helpful to hear that the way to come with your partner is to create your own company. Lots of "us " are doing that here. In Singapore as long as you pay, you ge...

Hi there, Check the conditions. Ryanair is charging for Airport check in and also luggage in the hold. Don't buy any priority boarding, just a waste of money. Also check www.flybe.com and many more local airlines depending of the country you want to fly to. Check also City airport. Good connections ...

First of all please read the sticky entitled 'IMPORTANT ALL USERS PLEASE NOTE' hence the deletion of your post. However, in reference to what you ask and mentioned you are wasting your time! Homosexuality is an offence in Singapore so there is little point looking for support for your intentions on...
