There's a Swiss bakery in Parkway Parade out in the east. They make really good bread there!

Arggghhh Taco Hell indeed! noooo...this is waaaay better. I just had it again tonight! I'm officially addicted. I judge mexican places on their salsa & guacamole. They make both of those really well!

how about the pricing? is it good? It's really reasonably priced, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants. Everything was under $15, even the main meals like Fajitas. I can't remember exactly how much everything was individually but I ordered beef steak fajitas (that came with tortillas, g...

Good to hear. Do they have veg offerings? Could you tell if there was any lard (like in refried beans)? That's the only difference between this stall & really authentic mexican food...they don't serve anything with beans. I guess they've adjusted a little to the local taste (don't think refried bea...

Try Bintan! It's only a 50 min boat ride away. There are several resorts there with private beaches and I think you can get a fairly decent rate too. Search Bintan Lagoon Resort, I think that one is pretty affordable.

I agree with Kymmie, Timbre serves a fairly decent pizza. But I know what you mean. I really miss the perfect pizza...thin crust, good helping of sauce and perfect amount of cheese! The best pizza I've ever had in my life was in a pizza joint called DeAmores in California. I think they're originally...

Mexican food in Singapore

I posted a few months ago looking for a good Mexican place in Singapore. Most places that were recommended were fusion Mexican food and really expensive! Anyway, just to let Mexican food lovers out there (especially those from California) know that I found a place!!! It's called Hungry Chicos on Tan...
