Yes, wasn't sure if their prices were reasonable considering the distance travelled - can't see why anyone would want a paper that badly!?! Suggested my Dad try and sell him his copy of yesterday's Independent :)

where to buy foreign newspapers

Does anyone know where you can buy foreign (UK) newspapers at a reasonable price anywhere near Holland Village? I know the news-stand near Cold Storage has them but my Dad said a Sunday Telegraph (a few days old) there cost $28!?! I doubt if they could charge this if there was anywhere else to go bu...

Thanks for all the advice. I don't seem to be getting notifications any more so I didn't see them until just now when I posted a new topic! Will have to keep a closer eye!

Le Club, Rawa and Rawa ferries

Does anybody know how to book at Le Club, Rawa? Either directly or through an agency.

Also would appreciate advice on how easy it is to charter a ferry to Rawa and back (friday/sunday evening).

Thanks!

Diving for Beginners

I'd like to do a beginner's diving course and am looking for recommendations as to where to go. Happy to take some time off work and travel a bit for somewhere good, although being a beginner maybe I'd be happy with somewhere experienced divers would find boring?! I suppose the main thing to conside...

I've only just started using Netsarius to host my website but so far they have been very helpful. Thanks for the recommendation and advice, Strong Eagle!

Hi Guys, really sorry, I only just saw your reply from August - for some reason I wasn't notified by email. It's so long since I wrote that post that I've subsequently found someone to play against. We may still be up for the occasional game but it would probably be few and far between!

Thanks Fated82. I've actually put one together with Publisher (took me hours!) so will see what happens when I try to upload it! Strong Eagle's recommended company have said I can take my laptop in to the office and they'll help me - that's what I call service (wouldn't get that from Yahoo!)

I thought I had already posted this but it doesn't seem to be there so sorry if this appears twice! I contacted netsarius but they only do custom designed websites which were out of my budget. I think I need to go with a website builder and am considering yahoo small business. The only problem is th...

I want it to come up when people search for my service in singapore e.g. under google 'pages in singapore' so presumably it needs to be .com.sg and hosted here?

It won't need to be complicated - maybe around 5-10 pages

Thanks for your help!
