And.... after filling in the profile and everything, Mindef says I don't have to do NS.

Right, the CMB have sent me the mailer asking me to register for NS. Here goes nothing.... or everything...

Well, just completed the formalities for the PR. Still here. Will see how this turns out. Might be weeks or months before I get the letter to register. Just that my manila folder has a big "NS LIABILITY" stamped on it in 30-point font size.

I'll post a follow up once I have more news.

Yes, they do work. Except the plug doesn't fit, so you'll have to either get adaptors, or change the plugs to the local ones. One whether you should bring those over here, unless you have some super snazzy appliances that are custom made and irreplaceable, I say to leave them in Australia. Shipping ...
