Hi, i would like to check something because basically i send my resume for the position as cabin crew at london base of cathay pacific. And they reply me to proof of your legal right to live and work unrestricted for any employer in the United Kingdom. So can anybody tell me what is it about? Like ...

Go to the above link, there's no recruitment for sin base currently. Maybe you can check again around year end, look out for the ad in straits times as well.

for malaysian crew base in hong kong, u can checkout the website whereas for sin base crew, both website and ST.

At least you manage to go to 2nd round, i think you still stand a chance. how many people are they employing actually? do you know whether they have gratuity? and basic salary? they only mention that monthly pay is 16000 HKD

For Sin Base Training is very intensive...6 weeks in HK. there will be tests n assesments every now n then... Training divided into 2 parts: Safety & Service Training. Anyone have any idea whether does Cathay have gratuity like emirates and SIA, they pay you an amount of $$$ after you complete your contract, the lady said the monthly salary is 16000 HKD, is that inclusive of overseas meal allowance? everything in?

I've gone for 1st round interview and received a card that says your application is under consideration, if not contacted within two weeks means application unsuccessful. Anyone has any idea what is this all about? is it a polite way of informing those candidates who failed that they are not qualifi...
