well some are truly mistreated but some of these maids also make it up, because they want to change their employer. And if they are being tortured or mistreated they should go to the agency asap. anybody has thoughts on the maid whose bf murdered her recently?.. still think its a good idea for them to have bfs?...FYI most of these so called "boyfriends" are also already married with kids. What if one of these psycho obsessive bfs of your maid comes to your house and does something to ur kids...

obviously, no one is locking them up and i would/ could not do that either. If they have bf's i wouldnt know about that either...its their own choice of course...but what i mean is even with protection...those undesirable things can happen so its hard but its better for them to abstain...and its not...

I'm so exhausted with searching for a maid...none of the agencies want to help after they hear my "indian" accent over the phone (tho i'm not an indian but close), because the maids "only want to work for caucasians".... i thought this would be easy but its not....i feel like going and complaining t...

i know but we've been here 2- 1/2 months. well the contract says we have to pay 200 per item and she says its 2 items...so we pay 400...plus we already paid 50 for the pipe. :(

well depends ...if u have the "expat" package ...fabulous for you...but if you dont (like me)...tough...esp with kids. its just too expensive. we never had money problems before and now we are...throw in a very evil landlord to boot. :P

as i said my 4 year old goes there...i've never heard her talking about fighting or anything. she loves going to school. everyone has good things to say and just because 1 person said something negative u completely change your mind. incredible.

My 4 yr old is going to Emaar. She seems happy. They have a v good campus, and reasonable fee. One thing which really impressed me , shes already singing mandarin songs and its just been a month. Their bus service is really good. I cant pick n drop my daughter so the bus is really helpful & safe.
