BTW, if I rent out something from HDB for about 2k or so, how long is the total commute time going to be form CBD? No point along an MRT line in Singapore is more than 30 min from the center. Oh so much nicer than traffic in any Indian city :cool: Can I assume that about $2000 is enough for living ...

Hi

I know someone in a similar situation. Wife works and husband no work yet and under DP. Only thing stopping them from applying for PR is the liability of NS. Hubby is late 30's.

I suppose he's too old for NS, right?

Hi! Got a tutor for my son who's about to enter primary. I just walked around our area and went to one pre-school to the other asking for school based tutorial (tuition as it is termed locally). No tutorial courses were being offered but one of the teachers I spoke with offered to drop by the house ...
