Where in Singapore can I buy tahini paste? Admittedly not yet looked far and wide!

Hi, I moved here a few months ago from London with my husband, don't really know many people so would be great to have someone to meet up with. Where are you staying? x

I go to pre-natal yoga at the Mother and Child centre in Tanglin Mall, www.motherandchild.com.sg, they run 3 classes a week, and also do post-natal yoga as well as pre-natal classes and lots of other helpful things for new mums.

Does anyone know where the best place to buy outdoor furniture fr our balcony? All around the complex there is lots of resin woven furniture which is really nice but I've heard expensive. Where would you go to get this or any other outdoor chairs etc?

My understanding is the SIngaporeans and PRs get hospital treatment, check out some of the hospital websites as I think they have some info.

I'm pregnant too - arrived at end of may. Did you find a good Ob/Gyn in the end? I wen to one guy who I wasn't happy with, my dentist recommended Ann Tan to me and I hae an appointment with her - did you see her?

I moved into 8 @ t Sophia a few weeks ago and I love it! Two bad thigs, pool only gets sun for a few hours a day and lots of step down to street level. I have a sunshine card, and the quality is just fine plus it seems to last quite a long time, I also use skype which is great but not as convenient as you kind of have to arrange a time to call.

I moved to Singapore about a month ago with my husband. I'm 26 from the UK, and expecting a little'un in January - hence I'm not working!

Are there any other non-working expat ladies (UK, USA, Canada, Aus, NZ etc)wanting some company for coffee, shopping and chatting!?
