Hi there, Thanks heaps. Yeah, I think that is my only option really, to try and get something on film. Do you think it would inappropriate of me to ask their son what floor he lives on? As he does play in the playground with my son occasionally and I have spoken to him a few times. Only last week di...

Hi Oz Chick, Not sure if this is an overkill for one stain but this is a good company that deals in removal of stains on marble. http://www.gmcspecialist.com.sg/service.html BTW I have found fruit to be the worse problem for marble, I think due to the acid content and also with marble being so porou...

UPDATE

Hi everyone, Sorry I didn't update this sooner. I just wanted to tell everyone that I did speak to the maid's employer after the above incident and when I told him he just looked at me like he was looking through me, it was really bizarre and he didn't even say anything to me in return, just walked ...

Help From any Aussie's from Victoria regarding schooling...

Can anyone please tell me if K1 is the equivalent of preps in Victoria. My son is in K1 here in Singapore but I think it's only by chance that he is there as he was born 3 months premature and I think if he was born on his due date he would still be in nursery 2. Just wondering as we hadn't planned ...

Thank you all for your replies. I actually already do have photos of her with the dog, after I caught her hitting the dog the first time I wanted to take photos of her with the dog so that I would be able to recognise her again or be able to ask people if they knew who she worked for. The thing that...

Caught a maid hitting a dog...very upset :( UPDATE

Hello, I am pretty distraught today and I just wanted to know what you long term expats think I should do. This is the second time I have seen this particular maid in my building hitting the dog that she takes out to the toilet, the first time I was so shocked I didn't know what to do, but today I a...

Hello, I am new to Singapore but have already found the place that makes pizza as close to the real thing as you can get, it's at a restaurant called Amalfi at Clarke's Quay, I have eaten there every 3rd night since I arrived a month ago. I get the margarita pizza, bruschetta and garlic bread and it...

Endocrinologist in Singapore (Graves Disease)

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows of a good endocrinologist in Singapore. I suffer with Graves Disease so will need to find one pretty soon after arriving. Has anyone had a total thyroidectomy while living in Singapore?

Regards,
Rachel.
