We used Catherine Lee at Camden Medical Centre. She is great, staff all very professional and will not do unnecessary work either. And we did pay the fixed price - not sure about previous comment saying ALL Singapore is pay as you go! Not in my experience anyway.

Well, whichever school you go for I would look sharpish about it because the waiting lists are loooong! I have had my 2 on Tanglin's list (for years 7 and 4 currently) since last November... hoping the elder one will get a place for January. Looks like number 2 will get a year 5 place in September 2...

Moving from cluster house to condo this week. Why? Well, our house is DARK with almost no natural light as they are 'clustered' together. Moving to a large condo development as want better facilities for our kids, 12 and 8. Will miss the space of the house but looking forward to lower electric bills!

Try looking at Summer Gardens in East Coast. 5 mins to MRT, lots of families and lots of space inside.

I am looking for advice from anyone living here regarding the bus service. I believe there is a business bus and a bus to the MRT? Does anyone know of the times for these or where I can find this info? Also, what are your thoughts on living here? Good and Bad! Thanks.

Holiday in Oz

We want to take out 2 kids aged 11 and 8 to Australia at Easter for 2 weeks. Best places to go? We like cities and beaches, keen to do both and get some sightseeing done. Hubby and I have done Sydney (pre-kids). Would appreciate some insider knowledge!
