do prepaid cards have the best rate or is it possible to get on a good monthly plan without a contract? i know that t-mobile here in the states lets you get a plan and just pay at the start of every month and its pretty much the same as having a contract except you dont. anything similar?

Hey everyone I'm going to be an exchange student at NUS in Jan 2009 and just wondering on the phone plans down there? I need something that doesn't have a contract (since ill only be there for one semester) and will allow me to use some sort of long distance (phone card maybe) to call home to Canada...

Hey, i'll be in Singapore going to school at NUS for the Jan 09 semester and coming all the way from Canada.

Just wondering whats there to do for Singapore for students and if there is a good way to meet people and make new friends down there.
