Hi Aditya, Although it said that it is a convertion of license, actually they will issue a new Singapore driving license to you after you passed the theroy test. Hi votentia, so no more worry about the NS...why wait...apply now! :) MINDEF has finally given me an answer after the ICA shrugged me off. They said that my British husband will not need to serve NS once he gets his PR - but he will still have to register with MINDEF for for 'administrative' purpose...

Hi votentia, i think u have misunderstood me. I have mentioned I din come across is actually meaning (short-form) did not. If your hubby filed Form 4A, it should be under PTS....so WATS HAPPENED?? Your hubby never work in Singapore, how come is under Form 4A?? really dont' understand... You are righ...
