I'm answering the question the OP asked on what is the difference between the schools. No offense intended unless it's offensive to have international schools in Singapore who employ foreign teachers.

What grades/subjects are the local teachers teaching at Chatsworth, ISS and OFS?

really? which international schools employ local teachers? I would think parents paying mega $$$ for international teachers would be kicking up a fuss if this was so.

the local schools employ local teachers and the international schools employ international teachers.

some of them are close to the mrt line but there are many that are not. It's a big rectangle shape with a pool in the middle and only one section is along the mrt line. So there are units there where you wont see/hear the mrt. Definitely worth a look.

we didn't give any-one our home number as we use mobile phones all the time. The only people that call our home number are myself and my husband. If we are both at home and some-one rings - it's telemarketers and we have never given a card or number to any-one we probably get 2 to 3 calls a week.

You put your son in an awful situation by putting him into an English speaking school where he wouldn't understand a word. I am not sure why you would do that? I agree with the suggestions made by the above poster, Rosemount raised its fees and now charges the same fees as schools with much better facilities. One World International school also offers 2, 3, 4, or 5 days.

just googled it - there is a Changi campus also. I was looking for houses out east a while ago and kept finding ones "near the japanese school." The condos advertising were in Tampines/Pasir Ris.

I didn't realise the main campus is out west!
