Even if the pay is low you should just do it if it's your passion!... :) Of course other airlines like SQ, Emirates and Ba etc pay more but if you do your time in an airline like jetstar it will be good expierience ;) and in time you can apply for another better paying airline and stand more chance...

I live in Singapore and i went to the SQ interview a while back but obviously i didn't get accepted as i'm not Asian.
