Hm, This reply might be a bit late, but maybe it can support others to make a decision. Singapore is great! Here are so many things to do in such a small place. Something new to do everyday. If you prefer to leave the island there are many interesting places to visit in the region. One thing why I a...

Re: anyone expats out there on local terms?

Hi - I was wanting to chat with any expats who are on local terms (135k, no extras)? International Schools are about 3k/mth a shot, that makes 6k for the 2 then rent at 2-3k/mth that leaves you with 2/3 k for food etc Possible? Yes Probable? No Whoa! Who got those $$$? I moved to Singapore without ...

I commute to work by bicycle every day. My route is about 15 km one way. Riding to work in the mornings is purely wonderful. On my way to work I ride in a slow and steady pace so I don't even have to shower when I reach work. On my way home I go fast to get some exercise. This way of travel makes my...

I'm inerested too. Food is always needed.

Dounut: Why is transport a problem? I don't know any place in Singapore where it's problematic to go. Although I prefer to go within a local range from my adress.

Kimi, picnic is a good idea, I like that. Did it before at Singapore at MacRitchie Reservoir. Only problem was it's crawling with ants. The girls, in particular, were less comfortable. So we ended up spreading our blanket on the concrete. But I'm up for another try. When and where? And Kimi, the fes...

I'm on for Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Anything goes, except wasting money on useless activities. The plan "Movie + Eat + Tea / Cycling + Seafood @ Ubin / Eat + Eat + Eat" is fine with me. Let me know the outcome. PM works well to reach me.

Yea, bunch of people I know has abandoned the island for the weekend, so I am aware of this trend. I'm not too keen on getting involved in the CNY celebrations or go to China Town. Had that experience. Well, just pm me if anything.

Hang loose.

Sorry" Sure, I enjoy drinks at times, but what about all the other fun I use to have? Why does it al...
