That should be quite manageable, we drive from near the Nee Soon Army Camp to Toa Payoh to drop our daughter off at Avondale Grammar every morning, it usually takes us around 15-20 mins barring accidents.

Given your son is in AIS I was also going to suggest Avondale Grammar, it's the same curriculum and if your son needs more focussed attention because he's ahead then the ratios at Avondale would help I would think.

My daughter is there and we're very happy with the school.
