Our maid's bed is raised like a bunk bed. This gives her room to have a chest of drawers, chair & TV on the ground floor. We ended up buying a custom made mattress from www.beds.sg & it cost about $380. It is a really nice mattress.

My maid also comes home from her day off, cooks dinner & does a tidy up. It is difficult to stop them from doing this as I think it is ingrained in their training. We tend to use Sunday night as our takeaway night, that way she can come home & relax without guilt.

Caribbean @ Keppel Dog Policy

Hi
Can anyone help me if the Caribbean @ Keppel has a 'no dog policy'. I looked at a condo there & noticed there were no dogs which is unusual from where I live on the East Coast. Any one know?

I have been here for 3 months & had 3 interviews for administration. I have had 2 job offers. I am on a dependent pass. You have to understand though that the wages for dependents are nothing like you might get at home but I do not care I just want more out of Singapore than laying by the pool.

We are trying to locate aluminium tubes that we can fix the umbrella. Can anyone give me an idea where this can be bought. We do not need a lot of it, just a few s...

Mobile Coverage on the East Coast

Can anyone give me some information on which company to use on the East Coast. We have done some comparison with Sing Tel & M1 & M1 seem to have the better plan but I have heard that it has limited coverage on the East Coast.

Brining food into Singapore

I am having my furniture shipped over to Singapore this Friday & was wanting to see if anyone knows if spices & tinned food can be brought into Singpore. I have about 50 spices which I would hate to have to replace.
